These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the services offered by Tukio (“we”, “our”, “us”) through our website, communications (such as WhatsApp or email), and any other platforms where services are requested or fulfilled. By engaging our services, you (“Customer”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
Tukio provides local errand and personal assistance services, including but not limited to:
Parcel pickup and drop-off
Grocery shopping and small item purchases
Cleaning assistance
Returns, recycling, and small deliveries
Other non-specialized, mutually agreed-upon tasks
All services are performed within reasonable means and local availability. Tukio reserves the right to decline any request that is:
Illegal, unsafe, or unethical
Unfeasible due to time, distance, or resource constraints
Requiring professional certifications or licenses (e.g., medical, legal, financial services, specialized cleaning or repairs)
We currently serve:

Tasks are requested via WhatsApp or any other approved communication channel.
A task is considered “confirmed” only when Tukio has responded with a quote and the Customer has explicitly accepted it.
All instructions must be clear, legal, and feasible for the service provider to execute without specialized training or licensing.
Prices are quoted per task and confirmed before execution.
Payments are due immediately upon task completion unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted payment methods: card (via mobile reader), cash, or approved digital payment systems.
No refunds will be issued once a task has been completed, except in cases of clear service failure as determined by Tukio.
Tukio is not yet VAT-registered unless otherwise stated. All prices are final and inclusive of applicable taxes where required.
Free cancellation is permitted before the task has started, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
If the task has already commenced (e.g., the service provider has begun traveling, made a purchase, or queued on behalf of the customer), Tukio reserves the right to charge a partial or full fee, depending on the circumstances and costs incurred.
If the customer is unreachable during a time-critical stage of the task (e.g., for access, approval, or delivery), and this results in delay, cancellation, or failed completion, Tukio may charge a service fee or the full task amount as reasonable compensation.
Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in restricted access to Tukio services.
Tukio provides everyday task assistance (e.g. errands, deliveries, and cleaning) on a best-effort basis.
We always strive to offer reliable and careful service. However, Tukio assumes no liability for:
Delays or interruptions caused by traffic, weather, store closures, or other external factors beyond our control.
The condition, quality, or suitability of any items purchased or delivered on your behalf.
Loss, damage, or spoilage of items during transport or after handover to the customer.
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that any items handed over to Tukio are legally permissible, safe to transport, and appropriately packed.
Cleaning Services
Tukio offers cleaning services carried out with care and professionalism. However, please note:
Tukio is not responsible for any damage to property, surfaces, materials, or items during or after cleaning, regardless of the cause.
Customers must inform us in advance of any delicate, valuable, or sensitive areas or items that require special attention or restricted handling.
We do not guarantee removal of permanent stains or damage that existed prior to cleaning.
By using Tukio’s services, the customer accepts full responsibility for any risks associated with the task provided.
Tukio does not:
Transport people
Deliver high-value goods, heavy items, or restricted substances
Handle tasks requiring professional licenses (e.g., healthcare, financial advice, legal filing)
Store or hold customer property longer than the duration of the task
We reserve the right to refuse any task without explanation.
Some services provided through Tukio may be carried out by independent subcontractors or self-employed professionals operating under Tukio’s coordination.
Tukio remains the main point of contact, oversees quality and customer service, and ensures that all service providers follow agreed standards.
Customers may not hire or contact subcontractors directly without prior written consent from Tukio.
Tukio assumes no liability for actions taken by subcontractors outside the scope of the assigned task or without Tukio’s coordination.
Tukio respects your privacy and handles all personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Finnish data protection law. Data collected is only used for task fulfillment and business administration.

By using Tukio’s services, you agree to:
Provide clear, accurate, and complete information when requesting a task
Be reachable by phone or message during the task for updates or clarification
Ensure accessibility and readiness at the pick-up or delivery location, if applicable
Accept the risks associated with third-party services, such as store delays, product availability, or refund handling
Treat Tukio personnel and service partners with respect and civility at all times
Use Tukio’s services for lawful and reasonable purposes only
Tukio reserves the right to decline or cancel a task if these responsibilities are not met or if there are concerns about safety, legality, or feasibility.
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the intellectual property of Tukio and may not be reused without written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tukio’s total liability to you for any claim arising from a task is limited to the amount paid for that task.
We are not liable for loss of profits, loss of opportunity, business interruption, or emotional distress resulting from our services.
Tukio is not responsible for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, weather disruptions, strikes, transportation delays, or government actions.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any dispute arising from these Terms or Tukio’s services will be resolved in the District Court of Espoo (Espoon käräjäoikeus), unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and apply immediately to new and ongoing tasks.
